Abdul Qadir Javaid

Abdul Qadir Javaid received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, and Newcastle University, U.K., in 2007 and 2008, respectively. He was with the Electrical Engineering Department, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Lahore, from 2010 to 2011. He received MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, in 2016. He worked at Intelligent Assistive Technology and Systems Lab (IATSL), University of Toronto, as a postdoctoral scholar from 2016 to 2018. Currently, he leads the data science and intelligent algorithms team at Myant, Inc. His current research interests include biomedical devices, signal processing algorithms for bio-signals, and machine learning.
