Mr. Tran is an undergraduate at Harvard University studying Biomedical Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. His rich research experience lies at the interface between medicine and engineering in disciplines including nanotechnology, drug delivery vectors, oncology, and medical devices. His notable research projects include engineering siRNA-nanoparticles for targeted-cancer therapy and developing point-of-care microfluidic immunosensors for rapid cardiovascular disease diagnosis.
Mr. Tran was the recipient of the First Place Grand Award in Medicine and Health at the 2013 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
