Climent Nadeu

Climent Nadeu received the Telecommunication Engineering degree in 1977 and the Doctoral degree in 1982, both from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona. Currently, he is Professor of the signal processing area at the UPC, and cofounding member of the Speech Processing Group. Also, he has been Director of the Research Center for Technologies and Applications of Language and Speech (TALP). During his sabbatical leaves, he has been a visiting researcher at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill (NJ), at the International Computer Science Institute, Berkeley (CA), and at Griffith University, Brisbane (Australia). He has more than 200 publications in books, scientific journals and conference proceedings. His main research interests lie in the area of speech technologies, and general audio processing and classification.
