Fernando B. De Lima Neto

Fernando B. De Lima Neto holds a doctorate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of London and Diploma of Imperial College London in Artificial Neural Networks (2002). Dr Buarque is Associate Professor at University of Pernambuco, Brazil, where he leads the Computational Intelligence Research Group and is member of the Computational Engineering Post-Graduate Program. His current research involves (1) Computational Intelligence (Metaheuristics Evolutionary, Social and Hybrid), (2) Modeling / Simulation of Stochastic and complexes problems, and (3) Intelligent Decision Support Systems (including aspects of Computational Semiotics). Prof. Buarque is Humboldt Fellow and IEEE Senior Member.
