Gloria Cea

Gloria Cea received the B.S. in Telecommunication Engineering and the M.Sc. degree in Telemedicine and Biomedical engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain, in 2011. She works as research engineer at Life Supporting Technologies group at UPM. Her main research area is the use of ICT applied to health care and wellbeing. Her main research area is the use of ICT applied to the exercise, specifically the development of mobile applications with wearable technologies for motivation, monitoring and guiding during the exercise practice. Currently, she works with a specialized clinic in nutrition which is dedicated to combating obesity and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Nowadays she is working on gamification, games and new tools for learning in an educational context.
