Nancey Trevanian Tsai

Nancey T. Tsai (M’16) became an associate member of IEEE in 2016. She received the Doctor of Medicine degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1998, completed her general surgery residency at Swedish Medical Center, commenced her Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, and completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Stanford University in 2006. She has a specialty certificate in Sports Medicine (2012).

She is currently in private practice in Charleston, South Carolina and also serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. She has been the past Chair of the American Council on Exercise Board of Directors. She is an advocate for fitness and sports safety, a two-time member of the U.S. Field Archery Team, and has been a personal coach to U.S. Paralympic archers.

Dr. Tsai is a fellow of the ABPMR, is a member of the AAPMR, and a member of the Medical Society of South Carolina.
