Natasha Sheybani is a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia. She received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering (with Honors) from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her research interests include applications of MR-guided focused ultrasound for non-invasive brain cancer treatment, such as thermal ablation, blood brain barrier disruption for drug and gene delivery, and immunomodulation.
