Norimichi Ukita

Norimichi Ukita received the Ph.D degree in Informatics from Kyoto University, Japan, in 2001. After working as an assistant professor at Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), he became an associate professor in 2007. He is a professor at Toyota Technological Institute, Japan (TTI-J), since 2016. He was a research scientist of PRESTO, Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) from 2002 to 2006, and a visiting research scientist at the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University from 2007 to 2009. His main research interests are multi-object tracking and human pose estimation. He has received the best paper award from the IEICE in 1999.
