Ranjan K Dash

Ranjan K Dash is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology and Biotechnology and Bioengineering Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Computational Biofluid Dynamics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in July 1998, before moving to the USA for postdoctoral studies. He has published more than 65 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals covering a wide range of research areas. His current research interests are focused on developing computational models in conjunction with experimental data to understand the underlying molecular mechanisms of cardiac ischemia and reperfusion (IR) injury and related pathologies.
