Rhonda D. Szcezniak

Rhonda Szczesniak is an Associate Professor in the Division of Biostatistics & Epidemiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She is interested in the analysis of medical monitoring studies for personalized, improved prediction / early detection of rapid disease progression. Her methodologic interests include longitudinal data analysis, functional data analysis and Gaussian process regression. She is the Primary Investigator of this research. She completed her PhD in the Department of Statistics at the University of Kentucky. Currently, she is developing and translating dynamic prediction models into point of care. These models incorporate novel biomarkers to improve predictive performance. Biomedical application areas include lung function monitoring, prediction of glycemic control during pregnancy, and assessment of 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure.
