Pamela Bhatti (M ’05) is an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA. Before completing her Ph.D. degree, she researched the detection of breast cancer with ultrasound imaging in the Department of Radiology, University of Michigan (1997–1999).
IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) is undertaking a search for Editor-In-Chief for the IEEE Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine (J-TEHM). We will begin reviewing applications by March 15, 2018.
The IEEE-NIH 2017 Special Topics Conferences on Healthcare Innovations and Point-of-Care Technologies will focus on healthcare innovations and point-of-care technologies for precision health and their clinical translation to address challenges in quality global healthcare. JTEHM student editor Francesca Jarrett is the first student member of NASA GeneLab‘s Steering Committee. The mission of GeneLab is to expand scientists’ access to the research conducted in microgravity with experiments that explore the molecular response of terrestrial biology to a spaceflight environment.
JTEHM has passed the National Library of Medicine’s rigorous Scientific Quality Review for inclusion in PubMed Central (PMC).
JTEHM is also indexed in Scopus, the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed research literature; and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), an online directory that indexes and provides access to quality open access, peer-reviewed journals.
